‘Dhurandhar’: Ranveer Singh hails director Aditya Dhar’s vision; ‘I top my hat to you sir’

Ranveer Singh teams up with Aditya Dhar for the action thriller ‘Dhurandhar’, featuring R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt. At the trailer launch, Ranveer praised Dhar’s dedication, calling the film “unprecedented.” The trailer shows a high-stakes battle for India’s safety, set to release on December 5.

Ranveer Singh has joined hands with director Aditya Dhar for the first time for an action-packed thriller titled ‘Dhurandhar’. The stellar cast includes R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt. At the film’s trailer launch, Ranveer was full of praise for Dhar, lauding the filmmaker’s creative vision and ambition behind the project.

Ranveer Singh’s tribute to Aditya Dhar’s dedication

During an event, Ranveer spoke about the director and said, “Seven years sir, making a film and he is absolutely unflinching, absolutely uncompromising in his vision, in his execution. He never settles for anything other than what he has dreamed up. I top my hat to you sir, the amount of work you have put in over the past two years. First of all, when you first engaged, I was shocked that you were even making something like this. And he was like, ‘yaar karna hai yaar, dikhana hai duniya ko ki hum kaun hai’. You know, he takes, he assumes the responsibility of Indian cinema and that’s why he is a champion and you will see it on December 5. What he has created is an absolutely unprecedented work of cinema and I am really happy and really proud that you are making a part of it. Thank you sir.”

Gripping storyline in ‘Dhurandhar’ trailer

‘Dhurandhar’ trailer offers a gripping glimpse into a high-stakes battle where Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt appear as ruthless villains with dark intentions against India. Standing in their way is Ranveer Singh, entrusted with the nation’s safety, backed by R Madhavan. Featuring Sara Arjun in a pivotal role, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 5.

Aditya Dhar’s impressive debut with ‘Uri’

Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar made a sensational directorial debut with the 2019 blockbuster ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, an action film dramatizing the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack. The movie starred Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, and Paresh Rawal, and was produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Go to Source
