At the trailer launch of ‘Dhurandhar’ in Mumbai, Ranveer Singh showered praise on veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, describing him as “an institution” with whom he has shared screen space. During an event, Ranveer talked about Rakesh and said, “Sir, I’ve watched you ever since I was a little kid in every medium, on stage, on television, in film and I’m so proud to be sharing the screen space with you in a film like this. Ladies and gentlemen, a man who is an institution in himself, we are so proud to say that after 49 years of a glorious acting career, I promise you this is one of his most standout performances.”

Rakesh Bedi began his film career as a supporting actor in the 1979 movie ‘Hamare Tumhare’. Over the years, he has acted in numerous films and TV serials. Some of his most memorable film roles were in ‘Mera Damaad’ and ‘Chashme Buddoor’ (1981).
