‘Dhurandhar’ earns Rs 13.9 cr ahead of ‘Border 2’ release

‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in the lead has completed another successful week at the box office. The film that has been going strong at the box office, fighting off all the competition, seems to have finally met its match in ‘Border 2’ which hits the big screens today, January 23. After showing signs of a gradual slow down at the box office, the film finally ended week 7 with its lowest collection to date.

As per reports on sacnilk, the film that is nearing the end of its theatrical run, earned an estimated Rs 1.1 crore net. Despite it being its lowest collection, it has still managed to sail above the Rs 1 crore mark.

‘Dhurandhar’ week 7 collections

Since entering its seventh week, the film has been seeing a gradual decline in numbers. ‘Dhurandhar’, however, still managed to set a new record as the highest-earning film in week 7. With a total of Rs 13.9 crore, the film now stands first on the list, beating the likes of ‘Stree 2’ which had earned Rs 9.35 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ total collections

The current net total collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ currently stands at an impressive Rs 830.5 crore. While the film’s India gross collection has now hit an estimated Rs 996. 3 crore. The film now needs just Rs 4 crore to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark and overtake ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ at the box office and claim the third spot on the list of highest-earning Indian films of all time. As per the report, the film has hit the Rs 294 crore mark in overseas box office collections. The film’s total worldwide haul is estimated to be around Rs 1288.9.

‘Dhurandhar’ to battle against ‘Border 2’

Since its release on December 5, ‘Dhurandhar’ faced competition from films like ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’, ‘Ikkis’ and ‘The Raja Saab’.
