‘Dhurandhar’ day 40 Vs ‘The Raja Saab’ day 5 (LIVE)

'Dhurandhar' box office day 40 Vs 'The Raja Saab' day 5 (LIVE): The Prabhas starrer crashes on Monday after crossing Rs 100 crore, Ranveer Singh's film slows down in week 6

‘Dhurandhar’ has entered its sixth week and the film which has excelled at the box office with flying colours has also broken several records. It has beaten ‘Pushpa 2’ to become the highest grossing Indian film and it has made its way to cross Rs 800 crore in India. Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, the film has crossed Rs 1200 crore.Dhurandhar Movie Review ‘Dhurandhar’ made Rs 5.75 crore and Rs 6.15 on its sixth Saturday and Sunday respectively, which is great. On 6th Monday, it has made Rs 2.35 crore. Now on Tuesday, day 40, the film has colleced Rs. 1.29 crore by evening. The total collection now stands at Rs. 808.29 crore.Meanwhile, after a good opening day, Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ saw a decline on Saturday and Sunday, but crashed further on Monday. It doesn’t seem like the film will see a comeback from here on. It made Rs 26 crore on day 2, Saturday and Rs 19.1 crore on Sunday. But on Monday there was a drop of 69 percent and it made Rs 6.6 crore. On Tuesday, day 5, the film has made Rs. 2.24 crore. The total collection now is Rs. 116.84 crore. On day 3, Sunday, ‘The Raja Saab’ recorded collections of around Rs 4.65 Cr in the Hindi belt. In stark comparison, Dhurandhar, despite being in its 37th day in cinemas, pulled in an estimated Rs 5.75 Cr. Such a scenario is rare, where a fresh release headlined by a Pan-India star is overtaken during its opening weekend by a film that has already completed more than five weeks at the box office. ‘The Raja Saab’s Hindi run began with Rs 6 Cr on Day 1, dipped to Rs 5.1 Cr on Day 2, and further slid to Rs 4.65 Cr on Day 3. This downward trend is especially worrying, as the film failed to benefit from the customary Sunday boost that typically lifts box office numbers.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
