Dhurandhar 2: Trailer Release Date Live Updates

The makers of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge are gearing up to release the trailer of the much-awaited sequel, and anticipation among fans is steadily building. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, coinciding with the Eid festive period, a slot known for delivering major box-office successes.

The original Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, emerged as one of the most successful films of 2025. Its gripping storyline and star-studded cast helped it dominate both box office charts and online discussions. The film’s narrative, set in Karachi’s Lyari neighbourhood, blended the elements of espionage and gangster drama in a unique way.

A powerful ensemble cast contributed significantly to the film’s success. Akshaye Khanna received immense praise for his performance, while Ranveer Singh played a central role in carrying the film’s emotional narrative. Sanjay Dutt portrayed a tough cop, Rakesh Bedi added comic relief, and R. Madhavan provided the moral balance within the storyline. Arjun Rampal appeared as the main antagonist.

At the box office, the film delivered remarkable numbers. It collected ₹838.5 crore domestically and crossed ₹1,305.35 crore worldwide. These figures made it one of the most successful Indian films of the year. The film’s music by Shashwat Sachdev also played a key role in creating excitement among audiences.

Interestingly, the film’s popularity extended beyond India. Although it faced bans in parts of the Middle East, Dhurandhar gained significant attention in several international markets. The film reportedly became one of the most pirated titles in Pakistan and cities like Dubai. Actor R. Madhavan even revealed that some fans travelled to India specifically to watch the film in theatres.

As the sequel approaches its release, discussions around the trailer have already begun online. Fans are eagerly waiting for the first glimpse of the film’s next chapter. Some viewers have also shared suggestions with the makers regarding how the trailer should be presented.

One fan wrote, “Now that YouTube supports multiple audio tracks within the same video, a single upload would keep the views consolidated. Given that Dhurandhar 2 is one of the most hyped Indian films in recent times, it could also help the trailer break several existing viewership records.”

Another fan urged the makers not to repeat footage from earlier promotional material, writing, “Tomorrow the trailer of dhurandhartherevenge drops! Super excited… but please don’t repeat the same teaser/post-credit scenes again in the trailer. Give us something fresh! dhurandhartrailer dhurundhar2.”

With the trailer release approaching, excitement for Dhurandhar 2 continues to grow rapidly among audiences.
