‘Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge’: Fans call out ‘FAKE REVIEWS’

'Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge' first review goes viral; Ranveer Singh's fans call out 'FAKE REVIEWS'

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, is all anyone is talking about on social media, ahead of its release this week. With the buzz around the film only increasing by the day, the film’s allaged “first reviews” have begun circulating widely on social media days ahead of its release.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ reviews go viral

One alleged review that gained attention viral online read, “#DhurandharTheRevenge is the #Baahubali2 of this era !!!! Speechless after watching this CRAZY Cinema at Censor Board!” Another post gave the film a four-star rating and read, “The first half (around 2 hours 10 minutes) is absolutely zabardast. From the very beginning the film grabs your attention and never lets go. Ranveer Singh is in complete BEAST MODE throughout the film. His screen presence and intensity are next level.”

Fans call out ‘fake reviews’

However, many fans were quick to question the authenticity of the early reaction, calling it out as a “fake review” and warning others not to believe unverified reports. “Movie has not yet been certified and this dude has already seen it.” Another asked, “Where did u watched? Like its not release yet right?” Still another quipped, “Paid preview dekh liya kya?”Several fans pointed out that the official screenings for the film have not yet taken place, nor has the film received its certification in India, thus making it unlikely that the reviews are legitimate.

Yami Gautam reviews ‘Dhurandhar 2’

So far, the only one to officially comment on ‘Dhurandhar 2’, is director Dhar’s wife, actress Yami Gautam, who spoke about the film at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026. While telling the audience that Aditya will only share the official details about the film, she went on to reveal that she has watched ‘Dhurandhar 2’, and said that it is “beyond extraordinary.”Speaking at the summit, Yami said, “I have already watched Dhurandhar 2. It is beyond extraordinary. I was really emotional. I had to catch a flight that day, so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya, but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script, but I couldn’t; I had to watch something, but I couldn’t. I was just watching the beautiful sunset outside and wondering what I will tell Aditya when the flight lands. I wanted to justify my feelings on the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and the country, and he has given his life’s effort to make this film. Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience that the audience will never forget.”

‘Dhurandhar 2’ box office predictions

The Dhar directorial is the follow-up to the blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ which released on November 5, 2025. With preview shows slated for March 18, all eyes have now turned to the box office to see how well the film will perform and if it will be able to shatter the records set by its predecessor. The film has also reported a strong advance booking trend. As per advance booking reports, the film’s all-India advance total, including blocked seats, has climbed to approximately Rs 31.9 crore gross. With this trend, the film is reportedly eyeing a Rs 35 crore haul, thus setting a new record. Go to Source
