It also broke the record of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ and other big movies like ‘Jawan’, ‘Stree 2’ among others. The film just didn’t do these numbers at the box office but it became a rage on social media with every character becoming popular. Now it’s a no brainer that fans are anxiously waiting for part 2 and can’t hold their excitement as a report suggests that the teaser of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will be out with ‘Border 2’. The Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty film is set to release on January 23. According to a latest report, the strategy behind the teaser launch is to firmly remind audiences of the sequel’s release timeline. A source was quoted by Bollywood Hungama saying, “The idea is to replug the release date in the minds of cinema-going audiences. Dhurandhar 2 is confirmed for an Eid 2026 release, the teaser will re-establish the date with some newer visuals.”Another insider further said that ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Border’ appeal to a similar audience base, making this a calculated move to pull viewers back to cinemas. “Both Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 are nationalistic films, and the team at Jio Studios wants to capitalize on the wave of patriotic cinema. The new cut of teaser from the end-credits of part one will be out digitally too, after a premiere on the big screen. For the beginners, it is a big screen exclusive,” said this source to the portal. Despite a confirmed box-office clash with ‘Toxic’, the makers of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ are standing firm on their release plans. “It’s a commitment from team Dhurandhar to the audience who gave so much love to the first part, and they will deliver what was promised,” said the source. The trailer for the sequel is expected to be unveiled towards the end of February. Fans reacted enthusiastically to the news as this report went viral on Reddit. One commented, “Smart move!
