The couples Gol Dhana reception was held at the YMCA Club in Ahmedabad. Many known faces from the Gujarati entertainment world came to bless the couple.

Later, Kinjal Dave’s Brahmin community announced a boycott of Kinjal’s family due to her engagement to Dhruvin Shah and after being silent for days, her father Lalit Dave shared a strong message on Instagram, “We don’t have any complaints. Those who don’t find us worthy should kindly stay away from us. We are happy in our own world. We don’t need anyone’s certificate.” Kinjal also spoke up and said, “When my father’s self-respect is questioned, I cannot stay silent as a daughter.”
