Dharmendra’s daughter Ahana wished to inherit THIS from him

Dharmendra, Hema Malini's daughter Ahana Deol didn't want lavish property, instead wished to inherit THIS from her father

Bollywood lost one of its most cherished stars on 24 November 2025, when the legendary Dharmendra, fondly known as the industry’s ‘He-Man’, passed away. His gentle smile, warm heart and timeless charm shaped generations of cinema lovers, leaving behind a legacy that continues to shine even in his absence. As tributes continue, we look back on one emotional memory once shared by his daughter Ahana Deol. It is a reminder that the most precious inheritances are not grand properties or riches but small keepsakes filled with love.

Dharmendra’s family life shaped with affection

Dharmendra married Hema Malini in 1980. Their first daughter, Esha Deol, was born the following year, and their second daughter, Ahana, arrived four years later. Although their family often drew public attention, the emotional bond between Dharmendra and his daughters remained warm and steady.Ahana shared many of her favourite memories in a past conversation with HerZindagiBuzz and spoke about the guidance she received from her father.

Values Ahana carried from Dharmendra

Ahana spoke lovingly about the values her father taught her. She said, “My dad has always taught me to be affectionate. He would always say, ‘It is about love and affection.’ He taught me to be happy, healthy, and strong. It might sound simple, but it has a much deeper meaning.”

Ahana expressed wish to inherit her father’s first car

When asked what she wanted to inherit from her father, Ahana did not think of money, fame or luxury. Instead, she immediately said, “My dad’s Fiat.”She explained her answer, “I would love to inherit my father’s first car his Fiat. That car is so cute and vintage, and I am sure he has countless memories attached to it. It is just something I would love to have as mine.”

Childhood memory showing their close bond

Ahana also shared a memory from her early years that she holds close to her heart. She said, “I was six when he was going to his farm in Lonavala. He had just dropped by to tell us goodbye before leaving. I suddenly said, ‘I want to go too…’ and it was so impromptu he packed my bags and took me with him. He made me sit on his lap in the car. It is one of the best memories I have with him. I will always remember it very fondly.”

Dharmendra’s final film

Dharmendra’s final on screen appearance is in ‘Ikkis’, a posthumous release set to premiere on 25 December 2025. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. Go to Source
