With the successful first installment still fresh in audiences’ minds, fans eagerly await ‘Dhurandhar 2’, scheduled for release on March 19, which aims to deepen the thrilling saga while reaching broader audiences.

The director joined the conversation on X after a stylised edit centred on the film’s breakout villain went viral online. The moment pushed the movie back onto timelines, fuelled fresh chatter about its dialogue, and spotlighted the performance that many viewers say defines the franchise.

Viral Qasainuma edit trends online

The clip circulating on social media platforms riffed on Akshaye Khanna’s feared character and a line that audiences have been repeating for weeks. In the film, he declares, “Rehman Dakait ki di hui maut, badi kasainuma hoti hai.” Fans clipped, cut and reshaped the moment into short videos, giving it a fresh spin.
