‘De De Pyaar De 2’ sees growth on Sunday, crosses Rs 30 crore

'De De Pyaar De 2' box office collection day 3: The Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R Madhavan starrer sees growth on Sunday, croseses Rs 30 crore

Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R Madhavan starrer ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ has released in theatres on Friday, November 14. The film had a decent opening of around Rs 8.75 crore on day 1 which is good for a romcom especially post pandemic. The film also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezan Jaaferi and Gautami Kapoor. After having an opening of Rs 8.75 crore, ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ has made Rs 12.25 crore on second day which is Saturday which was a growth of around 40 percent. Meanwhile, it saw a growth of another 12.24 percent according to Sacnilk, on day 3 which is Sunday. It made Rs 13.75 crore on day 3. The film’s total collection so far is now Rs 34.75 crore.Thus, ‘De De Pyaar De’ now comes at the fourth position in this list. On top stands ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, followed by ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ on second position and ‘Bad Newz’ at number three spot. At number five position is ‘Param Sundari’.Directed by Anshul Sharma, the story picks up where the previous instalment ended. After Ashish (Ajay Devgn) manages to convince his own family about his relationship with the much younger Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh), the tougher chapter begins: winning over her parents. Rakesh (R Madhavan) and Anju (Gautami Kapoor) are the ones who arrive in the picture.
