'Full House' star Dave Coulier reveals 45-pound weight loss amid cancer recovery: 'Side effects of extensive radiation'

David Coulier shares health update with fans and addresses concerns

Coulier recently took to his social media account to address his fans’ concerns over his appearance. He revealed that a lot has changed since he last posted on social media and that he wanted to keep everyone updated about his health and well-being.He further wrote that “What you’re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat. I haven’t been able to eat solid food in months. So I’ve lost 45 pounds, that’s what you’re seeing.” Further addressing concerns over some of the changes he has undergone in the past months, Coulier concluded by adding that “So you’re right on with what you’re seeing and what you’re hearing. ”

David Coulier shares good news about recent medical scans

In his post he also talked about going to the doctor for scans and that everything looked good for his health. He also shared that his hair was heavily affected by his cancer treatment, and he lost a lot of it. However, as of late, it has been growing back. He stated in the video that “The prognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma. So we’re very pleased with all of that.”Watch his latest post here:

David Coulier’s cancer journey

In November 2024, Coulier confirmed he had stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Five months later, he had revealed that he was cancer-free. However, this was not the end of his battle, as later in December 2025, he shared that he had been diagnosed with a second type of cancer, p16 squamous carcinoma, which affects the head and neck.
