'Dashavatar' box office collections day 11; Marathi thriller jumps big; crosses Rs 16.65 crores

The Marathi film industry has indeed pulled out its best product this year and it’s none other than the thriller ‘Dashavatar’ which is directed by Subodh Khanolkar. The movie is enjoying a remarkable run at the box office.After completing 11 days in theaters, the film’s total earnings have surged to Rs 16.65 crore India net, according to the Sacnilk website. The film earned an impressive Rs 3 crore on its second Sunday. On Monday, September 22, the movie added another Rs 80 lakhs (early estimates).

Occupancy trends show impressive WOM for ‘Dashavatar’

On Day 11, ‘Dashavatar’ reported an overall occupancy of 17.04% in Marathi theaters. Morning shows drew 9.26%, afternoons rose to 17.01%, evenings slightly improved to 17.07%, and night shows recorded the highest at 24.81%.

‘Dashavatar’ impresses the audiences with performances

The magnificent cast features Dilip Prabhawalkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Siddharth Menon, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Bharat Jadhav, Abhinay Berde, Ravi Kale, Vijay Kenkare, Sunil Tawde, and Aarti Wadagbalkar. ‘Dashavatar’ is getting impressive reports from the viewers who got to witness a different mix of thriller with traditions. The trailer and posters show a ‘Kantara’ vibe overall and is definitely impressive. ETimes gave the thriller a rating of 3 star out of 5. Our review praised the stunning visuals in the film and also the clever narrative. An excerpt from ETimes review says, “Dashavatar rides high on performances and visuals. At the same time, how the story progresses and digresses warrants questions. To sum it up, this is a big screen film and deserves to be watched in cinemas.
