Amid ongoing investigations into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was discovered in a car registered to singer D4vd, a resurfaced interview of the American singer has gone viral. The clip, now widely circulated on TikTok and Twitter, shows D4vd describing a Manga-inspired storyline in which he plays both detective and murderer. He even goes on to say, that in the story, he is “Solving murders that I’m committing myself.”

D4vd talks about committing murders

Opening up in the interview snippet, he says, “He’s basically an agent of chaos and kinda my alter ego. The story of the Manga went like – I was a detective and there was an evil version of myself that would come out at random moments. Kinda like ‘Fight Club’ with Tyler Durden. He would commit the crimes that I would have to solve afterwards as a detective. So as the detective, I’d be solving murders that I’m committing myself.”The clip ends with him saying, “It was a cool story though, I didn’t think anything would come of it.”

Videos spark speculation

While the remarks appear to have been made in a different context, the resurfaced video has triggered intense speculation from fans following the investigation into the death case. Several other netizens have shared the lyrics of the singer’s hit tracks, which many are now linking to the death of the 15-year-old. Others have even raised alarm over his music videos that allegedly mirror the recent shocking events. Critics are drawing parallels between his words and the ongoing homicide investigation.

Police still investigating death case

However, it must be noted that authorities have not yet commented on the case or the social media photos and footage doing the rounds. The Police have also not yet confirmed any suspects in the murder case. Meanwhile, D4vd has cancelled his European and US tour dates and has been dropped from a festival he was scheduled to perform at, in the wake of the murder investigation.
