Creative Arts Emmys 2025 winners' list: 'The Studio', 'The Penguin', 'Severance' scoop major wins

The Primetime Emmys began in style on Saturday as the first set of awards were rolled out on night 1 of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony, honouring achievements in technical categories, guest acting, and music, ended on a high with some delivering and some historic wins.Leading the charge was ‘The Studio’, which scooped up nine awards, securing its position as the most decorated series of the night. Following close behind was ‘The Penguin which snagged eight wins of the evening and ‘Severance’ earning six. Other multiple winners included series like ‘Andor’, ‘Arcane’ and ‘Love, Death + Robots’, each winning four awards. Meanwhile, ‘The Boys’ and ‘Bridgerton’ won three awards each in various categories. ‘Adolescence’, on the other hand, which became a rage on its release, won two trophies, a record it currently shares with ‘The Pitt’.The evening ended on a high for global superstar Beyoncé, who finally claimed her first Emmy after eight previous nominations. She and her creative team won Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for ‘Beyoncé Bowl’, marking a long-awaited triumph. Veteran actress Julie Andrews, also headed back to the Emmys stage to pick her award, two decades after her last Primetime Emmy win. The actress picked up her third career award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance, thanks to her acclaimed narration as Lady Whistledown in ‘Bridgerton’.In the acting categories, Bryan Cranston (‘The Studio’), Shawn Hatosy (‘The Pitt’), Julianne Nicholson (‘Hacks’), and Merritt Wever (‘Severance’) were among the high-profile winners.
