Homi Adajania-helmed modern romantic drama ‘Cocktail 2’, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon, has successfully wrapped up its second weekend. Despite losing out on screens to the Akshay Kumar led and Ahmed Khan directed multi-starrer chaotic comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, the spiritual sequel enjoyed a 3.5% growth on its second Sunday (Day 10) to register Rs. 4.40 crore net. As the film enters into the Day 11 of its theatrical run, roughly Rs 16–17 crore separate the film from the crucial Rs 100 crore domestic milestone.A continued weekday hold in the Rs 1.5–2.5 crore daily range through the remainder of Week 3 would be sufficient to push the domestic net past the Rs 90 crore mark within the coming days, with the Rs 100 crore domestic milestone achievable by the time the film completes roughly two and a half to three weeks in cinemas despite stiff competition from Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ and’ Welcome to the Jungle’.

Day 4 and Day 5 (Monday and Tuesday, respectively) held at Rs 6.75 crore each, while Day 6 (Wednesday) brought in Rs. 5.25 crore. A minor drop on Thursday added Rs 4.25 crore, wrapping the film’s first full week at Rs. 70.50 crore net.As the screen count compressed heavily on Day 8 due to ‘Welcome to the Jungle’s release, ‘Cocktail 2’ minted a steady Rs 4.00 crore. Day 9 (second Saturday) witnessed a crucial rebound, growing by 6.3% to register Rs 4.25 crore net, bringing the domestic net to Rs 78.75 crore. Day 10 extended that momentum further, growing 3.5% to Rs 4.40 crore across 3,979 shows, pushing the domestic net to Rs 83.15 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs 126.85 crore.
