Choreographer says Aryan’s humility reminded him of Salman

'He addressed Shah Rukh Khan as 'sir': Choreographer says Aryan Khan's humility reminded him of Salman Khan's work culture

Choreographer Mudassar Khan lauded Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, Ba***ds of Bollywood, highlighting Aryan’s profound respect and humility. Khan recalled Aryan addressing his father, Shah Rukh Khan, as ‘sir’ and patiently waiting for his attention. Aryan’s considerate nature extended to taking suggestions from all crew members, reminiscent of Mudassar’s experiences working with Salman Khan.

Choreographer Mudassar Khan recently opened up about his experience working in Aryan Khan’s debut directorial, Ba***ds of Bollywood. He also shared that Aryan showed great respect and humility, even when working with his father, Shah Rukh Khan in the series.

Aryan’s respectful interaction with Shah Rukh Khan

In conversation with Hindi Rush podcast, he said, “Our process was like I had a made a reference video for how the song would be, and then me and Aryan had showed it to Shah Rukh sir in his vanity van. That moment was of great learning for me. Because he was sitting in his vanity, and me and Aryan went inside, and Aryan was waiting all the while as Shah Rukh sir was talking to somebody on phone. So he waited until he turned his head towards us. And eventually when he did look at us, Aryan addressed him as ‘sir’ and said, ‘Sir, we have made something for the song, would you like to see it?’ And he immediately said yes yes, and then we showed him what we had done.”

Learning from the experience

Elaborating further, he added, “After he watched he said very good and then before he left he kept his hand on my head. And we had also made another pre-visualisation asset so that it could help us on set to shoot effectively and without any delays. So as he was leaving I immediately asked Aryan that should we also show him the other video. And then Aryan asked him by saying ‘Sir, if you have time, can we show you one more video?’ And I was stunned to see him say that because if I was in his place I would have been like ‘Daddy, see what I have done.’”

Aryan’s off-camera humility and manners

Mudassar also spilled some beans on the Khan lad’s off camera personality. “I had the best time working on the show. His manners, his humility, I was very impressed and it reminded me of the environment from where I have come from. Whenever you go to meet him, he always comes all the way down to drop you. Even if you tell him that there’s no need for it, he always insists, ‘No, I’ll come with you downstairs.’ He is always very humble and it is not only in his manners but it is also like when you are shooting, and then a light dada suggests something then he will go and say ‘Excuse me, can you tell again what you said?’ So he is somebody who takes suggestions from everyone. He is very respectful, and doesn’t want anyone to feel bad, and always insists upon hearing the other person’s opinion,” he shared.

Reminded him of working with Salman Khan

“It felt very personal to work with him. Very much like the environment you get to work with Salman sir. You have lots of fun but also respect each other, work well, and talk to each other with most manners,” he concluded. Go to Source
