The official trailer for ‘Chand Mera Dil’ released on Monday, giving viewers a closer look at Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s intense romantic drama. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film follows Aarav and Chandni as their love story moves from tender romance to emotional conflict. The trailer opens with a tense confrontation, where Aarav appears apologetic and regretful, setting the tone for a messy relationship shaped by love, mistakes, and unresolved pain. The film will release in theaters on May 22.

According to the official trailer, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ begins on a serious note and quickly introduces the emotional tension between its lead characters. Ananya Panday plays Chandni, while Lakshya plays Aarav. The trailer first shows a moment of discomfort between them. Aarav looks visibly sorry, while Chandni appears hurt. From there, the video moves into their budding romance and shows how their bond once looked like a fairytale. At one point, Chandni describes their love story as “legendary.” But the trailer makes it clear that their romance is not simple or perfect.The conflict seems to stem from Aarav’s past actions. The trailer hints that he made a serious mistake, one that even his sister cannot fully forgive. However, the makers do not reveal what he did. The trailer builds curiosity around that secret without giving away the full plot.

‘Chand Mera Dil’ cast, music and release date

Vivek Soni has directed ‘Chand Mera Dil’. He also wrote the screenplay with Tushar Paranjpe. Vivek penned the dialogues with Tushar and Akshat Ghildial. The film also stars Manish Choudhary, Iravati Harshe, and Aastha Singh in supporting roles. Sachin-Jigar have composed the music for the romantic drama. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics. The makers have released three songs from the film so far, and all three have received a strong response on social media. ‘Chand Mera Dil’ is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza.The film marks the first screen collaboration between Ananya Panday and Lakshya. It is also the only major theatrical release scheduled for May 22.
