Following her courtroom drama and album launch, Cardi B made a huge announcement on Wednesday – she is pregnant with Baby no. 4

The rap superstar, who has been rumoured to be pregnant with her fourth child, addressed the speculation and announced on CBS Mornings that she is indeed expecting a child with her NFL star beau, Stefon Diggs, best known as the New England Patriots wide receiver.”I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” she said. When asked about how she felt about becoming a mom for the fourth time, she said, “I’m excited. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other and we’re in the same space in our careers.”

When asked to elaborate on their career outlooks, Cardi said, “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. Me and him, we think the same way.” She went on to explain, “We’re never comfortable, we just wanna keep doing it (excelling).”She was also asked if the song in her new album ‘Safe’ was about her romance with Diggs. Cardi admitted that he makes her feel, “Very safe.”

Diggs, meanwhile, has impressed fans with his commitment to the rapper. According to Rolling Stones, he told Cardi, “Give me a chance for me to heal you.” She gushed, “He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong.” The couple first sparked dating rumours in October 2024, and by May, they confirmed their relationship with a courtside date at a Knicks game. This is Cardi’s first high-profile romance since her rollercoaster relationship with rapper Offset, whom she married in 2017 and divorced in 2024.
