Cameron Diaz reveals THIS strict house rule for guests

Cameron Diaz reveals strict house rule that leaves guests waiting outside: ‘Street shoes, no entry’

Imagine showing up at Cameron Diaz’s door as a guest, and she doesn’t let you in. That could very much happen, but with “valid” reason on the ‘Knight and Day’ actress’s part. Because Diaz doesn’t mess around when it comes to her house rules. She’s made it clear: if you show up at her door wearing your street shoes, you’re not coming in; she’ll leave you out on the curb.

Cameron Diaz’s ‘strict’ house rule

Cameron Diaz recently talked about her biggest pet peeve during an appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’. When Drew asked what really bugs her about guests at home, Diaz didn’t skip a beat: people bringing the grit of New York City sidewalks into her place.Diaz painted a pretty funny picture of just how firm she is with this rule. During the show’s “Drew’s Qs” segment, answering on her “biggest ick,” the star took a pause and then a deep breath, and said, “Shoes from the street in New York City.”Diaz further revealed that she even expects people to change out of the clothes they wore outside before they step in. Why? According to her, outside environments carry dirt and germs that she prefers to keep out of her living space. “You cannot,” Drew jokingly added, “If you want to go into her house, put a body condom on.” Diaz agreed: “You have to change your clothes to come into my house in New York.” Turns out, “It’s true,” as Drew revealed, “her house has no germs in it because of it.”She knows it sounds intense, and Drew and the rest of the cast, including Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer, and Jonah Hill, got a laugh out of it. Still, Cameron stands by it: “I roll around on my floors. It’s okay.”No wonder she wants to keep it that way!

More on Cameron Diaz

For those who haven’t kept up, Cameron Diaz has been in the entertainment scene for a long time and has been doing things her own way for years. She first shot to fame in the ’90s with ‘The Mask’ and just kept going, starring in movies like ‘There’s Something About Mary’, ‘Charlie’s Angels’, and ‘The Holiday’. She was one of the go-to stars in Hollywood, landing hit after hit, and her movies racked up billions at the box office. However, at her peak, she walked away from all that. Rather than chasing every role, Diaz focused on her personal life: getting married to Benji Madden, becoming a mom, and diving into wellness. She even wrote a few books about health and longevity. Now, after almost a decade out of the spotlight, she’s back with ‘Back in Action’ on Netflix and the Apple TV comedy ‘Outcome’.Discussing ‘Outcome’, Diaz told People that it’s a “cautionary” tale of some of the consequences that come with fame.”I also think that this movie shows [fame] in a very interesting light and a very heightened light,” she adds. “Everybody thinks they want to be famous, but there is a cost to it. So it’s a cautionary comedy.” Go to Source
