‘That's my new personality’: Brooks Nader reveals how she’s embracing the iconic ‘Baywatch’ slo-mo run for reboot

‘Baywatch’ was one of the most iconic American shows of all time. The series has been remade on multiple occasions and is still remembered by many. Now, another reboot for the series is happening, with brand new faces joining the lifeguard team. In a recent interview, ‘Backtrace’ star Brooks Nader opened up about how it has been for her to film for the iconic show and what changes it has caused in her life.

One of the most iconic parts of the original ‘Baywatch’ series was the slow-motion run that the lifeguards were accustomed to doing on the shoreline. For years, that move has been known and well-loved by fans. This time around, the new cast is all but embracing the move as well. While talking to PEOPLE recently at a public event, Brooks Nader opened up about her experience filming for the show.She revealed how she has been embracing her character, Selene, on the show and even opened up about the slow-motion sequence that is guaranteed to be a part of the new reboot. The 29-year-old joked about the same and commented that she has fully committed herself to it. She cited, “I only run in slow-mo. I don’t run in normal motion anymore. That’s my new personality, running in slow-mo.”

Brooks Nader says she has been ready to play this role for years

When she was asked about how she felt filming for the reboot of such an iconic and classic series, Nader could not stop gushing. She revealed that she had been a big fan of the show since she was a child, and she was born to play the role. She added, “I’ve been doing this since I was like two years old. I’ve been ready for this. I’m like, ‘I got this. I’ve been watching the videos of Pam and Carmen Electra. I’m ready for this.”Furthermore, she explained how excited and amazed the entire cast was working for such a big name and that everyone’s energy matched on set. She added, “

New cast members for ‘Baywatch’ reboot

The reboot will have a brand new set of faces joining in, with some OG cast members as well. Many of the people that will be joining the ‘Baywatch’ reboot include:Stephen Amell, Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, Shay Mitchell, Thaddeus LaGrone, Livvy Dunne, Luke Eisner, Nadia Gray, Charlie McElveen, Ashley Moore, and Kylar Miranda. David Chokachi, who was part of the original gang and played the role of Cody Madison, will be returning to the series in the brand new reboot.
