‘Bridgerton’ cast fees: THIS is the high-paid character

‘Bridgerton' cast salaries revealed: A surprising member takes home a paycheck of USD 1 million

Exciting news from the Bridgerton universe! Reports indicate that Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne, raked in an impressive £400,000 for her role in the first season. Meanwhile, the iconic Julie Andrews, lending her voice to Lady Whistledown, supposedly earned a staggering £1 million.

After its inaugural season in 2020, ‘Bridgerton’ became a fan favourite. It not only helped the stars garner love but also handsome fees. Want to know who earned how much in the previous parts before ‘Bridgerton Season 4’ hits? Here’s a glimpse of the salaries of ‘Bridgerton’ cast members.

Phoebe Dynevor

Phoebe Dynevor, the crown jewel of ‘Bridgerton Season 1’, who played Daphne Bridgerton, was the highest-paid cast member on set. As per Daily Mail, the actress took home 400,000 pounds (INR 4.8 crore approximately) for the first season, soaring her asset value by over 500 per cent.

Rege-Jean Page

What we know is that Regé didn’t return to the series even after he was offered USD 50,000 (INR 45 lakhs approximately) per episode, and he was supposed to appear as a guest actor in three to five episodes. But the actor chose to decline the request, and in an interview with Variety, the actor said, “It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, middle, and end – give us a year. ‘That’s interesting,’ because then it felt like a limited series. I get to come in, I get to contribute my bit, and then the Bridgerton family rolls on.”

Julie Andrews, aka the voice behind Lady Whistledown

The voice behind the famous gossip that circulates through the ton is that of Julie Andrews. Although Julie Andrews never appears on screen as Lady Whistledown, the actress reportedly earned £1 million (INR 12.13 Crore approximately) for her role, according to Life & Style magazine.

What we know so far about ‘Bridgerton Season 4′

Fans are excited and simply cannot wait for January 29, when Bridgerton will be back with another season. For the fourth season, the period drama will consist of two parts, 1 & 2, each comprising four episodes, which makes a total of 8 episodes. This season is adapted from Julia Quinn’s third book, ‘An Offer for the Gentlemen.’ This time, the spotlight will be put on Benedict Bridgerton, a bohemian middle child, who encounters a mysterious lady. What follows may be a little “twisted cinderella story.”
