Actor Bobby J. Brown, known for starring in the series ‘The Wire’, has passed away. He was 62. His talent agent, Dr. Albert Bramante, shared the statement, confirming the same. It read, “Bobby J. Brown was a uniquely talented actor and a man of great character. From his deep roots as a Golden Gloves champion to his impactful performances on screen, Bobby brought an unmistakable authenticity to everything he did.”According to Fox News Digital, the statement concluded with, “He was a dedicated professional and a true joy to represent. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”As per the publication, firefighters reported a fire in his barn, which trapped him inside after 10 pm on Feb 26, 2026. According to the report, firefighters found a 50 by 100 foot barn almost engulfed in fire. Reportedly, family members confirmed that one person was inside the barn. The St. Mary’s County press release obtained by the publication stated, “After the fire was brought under control, firefighters located a deceased male victim within the barn. “As per the release, the person inside the structure was trying to jump-start a vehicle. Reportedly, he had asked his wife for the fire extinguisher; however, by the time she reached the spot, she found the barn engulfed in fire.Reportedly, the victim’s wife has also suffered burn injuries and was rushed to the hospital. However, there was no mention of Brown’s name in the press release. Meanwhile, as per the TMZ report, Brown passed away in Maryland due to being trapped in a barn fire. His daughter told the website that her father passed away due to smoke inhalation.The talent manager told the outlet, “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.” Bobby J. Brown played the role of Officer Bobby Brown in the series ‘The Wire’. He also appeared in ‘Law & Order: SVU’ and ‘We Own This City’. The actor had worked in movies like ‘City by the Sea’ (2002), ‘My One and Only’ (2016), ‘Fishbowl’ (2018), ‘Miss Virginia’ (2019), ‘Really Love’ (2020), and ‘Off-Time’ (2022).Reportedly, the actor is survived by his wife and two daughters.
