Ravi Teja’s latest film, ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi,’ has opened to a decent Rs 2.50 crore on its first day, indicating a loyal fan base. While occupancy was steady, not exceptionally high, the film’s performance over the coming days will be crucial. Reviews are mixed but acknowledge Teja’s restrained performance, though supporting characters lack depth.

‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ has taken a decent start at the box office. On its first day the film earned around Rs 2.50 crore India net. For a regular weekday release, this opening is fair. The opening numbers show that Ravi Teja still has his loyal audience. The real test for the film will be how it performs over the next few days.

Occupancy numbers show slow build

The occupancy numbers on Day 1 were steady but not very high. On Tuesday ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 33.30%. Morning shows began at 26.86%, showing a soft start.Afternoon shows improved slightly and reached 30.81%. Evening shows went up to 32.32%. Night shows were clearly the best with 43.21% occupancy. The numbers are not huge but they are stable enough to give the film a chance to grow if word of mouth stays positive.

Audience and review response

The film is getting mixed but mostly decent responses. ETimes review spoke about Ravi Teja’s performance and said, “Ravi Teja delivers a composed performance as Ram Satyanarayana, opting for restraint rather than loud theatrics.” The review also added, “His trademark comic timing comes through most effectively when he switches into his alter ego, providing some of the film’s better moments.”About the female leads, the review said, “Ashika Ranganath is confident as Manasa, bringing a certain poise to the role, while Dimple Hayathi convincingly portrays the possessive Balamani.” It also mentioned, “That said, both characters suffer from thin writing, with limited emotional depth or growth.”
