Mari Selvaraj’s impact and Dhruv Vikram’s performance

Following the success of ‘Karnan’, ‘Maamannan’, and ‘Vaazhai’, director Mari Selvaraj continues to build on his reputation as a filmmaker with ‘Bison’. The music is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna and is getting wide praises from the audiences.’Bison Kaalamaadan’ follows that legacy, with the audiences praising Dhruv Vikram’s intense performance and Anupama Parameswaran’s strong supporting role. The ensemble cast also includes Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Ameer Sultan, and Anurag Arora. An excerpt from ETimes review for the film reads, “Bison isn’t just about Kittan’s journey. It’s also about his relationship with his father (played by a moving Pasupathy). Their bond is the soul of the film. Madankumar Dakshinamoorthy deserves a special shoutout. He plays a teacher, who is a mentor figure to Kittan. Their teacher-student bond is endearing, even if it’s overlooked in the latter part of the film.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
