'Bison Kaalamaadan' box office collections day 6: Dhruv Vikram’s film crosses Rs 25 crore mark

Mari Selvaraj’s riveting sports film ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ has taken the box office by storm, amassing over Rs 25 crore in just the first week, led by standout performances from Dhruv Vikram. Its continuous success, particularly evident in Wednesday’s earnings, showcases a firm connection with viewers.

‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ which is directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Dhruv Vikram, continues its successful box office run with consistent collections through its opening week. As per early estimates, the sports drama earned around Rs 3 crore India net on its sixth day, taking its total collection to approximately Rs 25.50 crore across all languages.

Decent day wise collections

As reported by the Sacnilk website, after a moderate start of Rs 2.7 crore on its opening day, the film gained strong traction over the weekend. The Dhruv Vikram starrer collected Rs 3.4 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.5 crore on Sunday. The momentum carried into Monday and Tuesday with Rs 6 crore and Rs 5.9 crore respectively. The film saw a slight dip on Wednesday. Despite the minor decline, Bison Kaalamaadan has comfortably crossed the Rs 25 crore mark within six days.

Consistent occupancy

Reportedly, ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ had a 37.47 percentage Tamil occupancy rate on October 22, Wednesday. The film performed best during afternoon shows. It recorded an impressive 42.77% occupancy on afternoon shows. It was followed by evening and night shows at 41.69% and 38.29%, respectively. Morning shows were relatively modest at 27.13%.

Mari Selvaraj’s emotional storytelling

Directed by Mari Selvaraj, Bison Kaalamaadan stars Dhruv Vikram, Anupama Parameswaran, Pasupathy Ramasaamy, Rajisha Vijayan, Ameer Sultan, and Anurag Arora. The film is inspired by the life of kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan. The film adds another powerful chapter to the Mari Selvaraj Cinematic Universe.
