Big B buys 2.7 acre land in Ayodhya worth Rs 35 crore

Amitabh Bachchan expands his real-estate purchase in Ayodhya, buys 2.57 acre land worth Rs 35 crore

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan seemingly loves to invest in real-estate and the properties he owns are a testament of that. The actor already has three properties purchased in Ayodhya and now he has further expanded his portfolio. The actor has now bought a 2.67 acre land worth Rs 35 crore. This was confirmed by the group which has who has built the expansive 75-acre project, ‘The Sarayu’. The transaction was carried out by Rajesh Yadav, Managing Director of AB Corp Ltd, according to the company’s statement.Commenting on the deal, the chairman of the project said, “Bachchan’s investment reflects a shared belief in land as an intergenerational asset that preserves value over the long term.”On work front, the actor who was busy with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ has now also begun shooting for the sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Big B shared the news on his blog as he posted pictures from outside his house, showing a sea of fans waiting to catch a glimpse of him despite him informing them in advance that he would not be able to meet them. Alongside the pictures, he wrote, “told them that this Sunday I shall not be able to come, since I was shooting in Hyderabad . . but still they come .. to confirm .. … even this cute little fellow (dog).”He wrote further, “But apologies .. work first .. rest later .. … and meeting up with the great KAMAL HAASAN … we shall be working together after ages .. last in Giraftar .. Kalki 2 begun the work .. and shall ever cherish the love and affection of anticipated presence on the Sunday .. but hopefully shall be with all this coming Sunday ..My love.”Kalki 2 is directed by Nag Ashwin and stars Prabhas. Deepika Padukone who was there in the first part is no longer a part of the sequel.
