‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ plot recap
‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, released in 2017, centers on Keshav who falls for Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) and marries her. When she objects to the lack of a toilet in their home, Keshav sets out to build one. On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar is set to plays Rita Ferreira, a new DCP in Mumbai Crime Branch, in Prime Video’s Hindi crime series ‘Daldal’. Based on Vish Dhamija’s book Bhendi Bazaar, the show is made by Abundantia Entertainment, written by Suresh Triveni, produced by Vikram Malhotra and Triveni, and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta. It also stars Samara Tijori and Aditya Rawal in pivotal roles. The teaser shows brutal killings with cut wrists and stuffed mouths, plus Rita facing the case, her issues, and police bias.
