‘Beyond The Kerala Story’: Makers drop title reveal teaser

The sequel to ‘The Kerala Story,’ titled ‘Beyond The Kerala Story,’ has been announced with a teaser revealing its February 27, 2026 release. Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film promises a deeper, more impactful narrative. Filmed under strict security in Kerala, the sequel aims to explore a more harrowing story, building on the controversial themes of its predecessor.

The makers of ‘The Kerala Story’ have dropped the announcement and title reveal teaser of the sequel of the movie. The second part has been titled ‘Beyond The Kerala Story’. Along with that, the team has also officially revealed the release date of the film in the video. Let’s learn more about it.

‘Beyond The Kerala Story’ announced

The teaser of the upcoming film ‘Beyond The Kerala Story’ showcased no glimpse of the film but captions written in green color. It read, “They said it was just a story. They tried to silence it; they tried to discredit it. But the truth didn’t stop. Because some stories don’t end. This time it goes deeper. This time, it hurts more. ‘Beyond The Kerala Story’.”After the name reveal, we hear a dialogue in the background score, “Joh taqat mohabbat mein hain, woh baarud mein kahaan?”The movie is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026.

This time, it’s not Sudipto Sen, but Kamakhya Narayan Singh, who is helming the project. The star cast of the movie has not been revealed yet. The movie has already been shot in God’s own country, Kerala. As per the reports, it has been filmed under extremely controlled and secured conditions, as producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah didn’t want any troubles during the shoot.As per the reports, the cast and the crew had no access to their cell phones on the sets to avoid any leaks. And if reports are to be believed, the film will showcase a more gruesome story in the sequel.

The movie starred Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, and others. It showcased the story of four girls of Kerala who are forced to convert to Islam and eventually get recruited for the terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS).Though the film earned huge amounts at the box office, it was also labelled as a propaganda film. Debate over whether what is shown in the film is real or fiction took over media. On the other hand, the makers have stated that all the events shown in it were based on a true story.According to the Sacnilk report, the film earned over Rs 300 crore at the box office.
