'Athiradi’ box office collection day 12: Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph’s film slows on Monday, mints over Rs 62 crore worldwide'

Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph’s ‘Athiradi’ continues its decent theatrical run even in the second week. The film is holding well at select centres despite facing strong competition from Mohanlal’s blockbuster ‘Drishyam 3.’ Audience interest remains stable, and positive word of mouth and family-friendly content are supporting its long run in theatres.

On Day 12, ‘Athiradi’ collected a net of Rs 0.57 Cr across 796 shows in India, as reported by Sacnilk. Weekend boost helps ‘Athiradi’ after strong second Sunday growth

On day 11 (2nd Sunday), the collection went up further to Rs. 1.53 Cr nett. However, the weekday effect on Day 12 pulled collections down significantly. ‘Athiradi’ crosses Rs 62 crore worldwide

The overseas market has played an important role in the film’s overall success, contributing Rs 24.65 Cr in gross revenue. Combined with strong domestic earnings, the worldwide gross has now reached Rs 62.31 Cr. Directed by Arun Anirudhan, ‘Athiradi’ has managed to receive appreciation because of its humour and emotional storyline. It has also witnessed some falls during the weekdays, yet it is still raking in good money through international box office revenues.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
