Titled ‘Subhash – The Netaji Story’, the ambitious biographical drama will feature rising actor Aryan Shyam in the titular role, directed by Anand V. Prasad. Backed by the prominent Gemini Film Circuit, the movie promises a deeply researched, large-scale cinematic look at Bose’s dream, bravery, and his legendary leadership of the Indian National Army (INA).
A legacy of patriotism adds meaning to the casting
Actor Aryan Shyam’s casting carries profound meaning for the film, given his family’s deep-rooted legacy of nationalism. His great-grandfather, V. Krishnaswamy Iyer, was instrumental in championing India’s economic self-reliance during British colonial rule.
