Arpita reacts strongly to scrutiny around Mahhi-Nadim

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan reacts strongly to scrutiny around Mahhi Vij and Nadim Nadz after separation from Jay Bhanushali

After Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali announced their separation earlier this month, the couple found themselves at the centre of intense online speculation. Reacting to the growing scrutiny, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan took to her Instagram Stories to voice her concern. She wrote, “Nadim Nadz, if someone like you can get called out, then I wonder the world we are living in.”Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, who got married in 2011, confirmed their separation after over a decade together. In their joint statement, they emphasised that they would continue to co-parent their children.

Speculation begins after Mahhi’s birthday post

Soon after the announcement, rumours intensified around Mahhi’s equation with Nadim Nadz, an associate of Salman Khan. The buzz began when Mahhi shared a heartfelt birthday note for Nadim on Instagram, writing, “Happy Birthday to the one I chose, not by chance, but by heart… you are my family, my safe place, my forever… With you, I can be myself – broken, happy, emotional, imperfect – and still feel completely accepted and loved.”The emotional tone of the message, posted shortly after her separation, led to widespread assumptions online.

Ankita Lokhande defends Mahhi and Nadim

Ankita Lokhande stepped in to address the rumours and defend her friends. In a detailed Instagram Story, she wrote, “Today, I want to say something, not as a celebrity, but as a friend. I’ve been deeply troubled by the comments people have been making about Mahi and Nadeem’s relationship.”Clarifying the bond, she added, “I know Mahi, Nadeem, and Jai very well. And I need to make this clear: Nadeem has always been a father figure to Mahi and Jai, and a father to Tara. That’s all there is to it.”Ankita further said, “As a friend, I can say this—Nadeem is someone who has stood by people, including me, in difficult times… Let people live their lives. Karma is watching.”

Jay Bhanushali backs Ankita’s words

Jay reshared Ankita Lokhande’s statement on his social media handle and expressed his agreement, writing, “Thank you Ankita and I agree with every word you have said.”

Mahhi Vij breaks silence with an emotional message

Addressing the controversy herself, Mahhi Vij shared a video message, firmly shutting down the rumours. She said, “Nadim mera best friend hai aur hamesha mera best friend hi rahega… 6 saal se Tara usko Abba bulati hai… Aapne Abba shabd ko ganda kar diya hai. Shame on you.” Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij married on November 11, 2011. In 2017, they fostered two children, Rajveer and Khushi. The couple welcomed their biological daughter, Tara, in 2019. Despite their separation, both have reiterated their commitment to raising their children together. Go to Source
