Armaan Malik’s has been in the news lately, as the Youtuber has been summoned by the Patiala District Court for violating the Hindu marriage act. Armaan along with his two wives – Payal and Kritika Malik has been asked to appear before court on September 2. Now amidst this order from the court, Armaan’s second wife Kritika has now announced her pregnancy. ‘The Bigg Boss OTT 3’ finalist took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy with a set of pictures, where she held a pregnancy test kit while smiling alongside Armaan’s first wife, Payal. Kritika wrote, “Ghar Mai khushiyaan aane vale hai.”For those not in the know, the court has summoned Armaan, Payal and Kritika following a petition filed by Davinder Rajput, who accused Armaan of violating the Hindu Marriage Act and alleged that the YouTuber actually has four wives, not two. Under the Hindu Marriage Act, those practicing Hinduism are permitted only one marriage at a time.Armaan first married Payal in 2011, and the couple has a son, Chirayu. In 2018, without ending his first marriage, Armaan went on to marry Payal’s best friend Kritika, and the two welcomed a son, Zaid.Their unusual family dynamic grabbed attention when the trio participated in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ in 2024. Payal was the first to be eliminated, Armaan walked out during the finale week, and Kritika made it to the finals. However, their stint on the show also drew heavy criticism, with many accusing them of promoting polygamy. After her eviction, Payal even expressed her decision to part ways with Armaan. In one of her vlogs, she said, “I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay but now the hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids.”Later, Payal changed her mind and revealed in another vlog that she would not divorce Armaan. She shared, “I am back with some positivity. Things will be fine soon. Your love and support will be with us. After a point, negativity will also stop. When people will see our happy family, things will be fine. I am sure about it. Things weren’t good in the past too but everything got better. This time also, things will be fine. I know you people won’t stop loving us. I am able to gather this courage only because of your support.”
