Anya carifies rumours of being SRK’s manager’s daughter

Anya Singh clarifies rumours of being Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani's daughter: 'We laughed about it'

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has stepped into Bollywood with his directorial debut series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. The show is already creating waves, earning praise from viewers and sparking viral memes thanks to its dialogues and scenes. But along with the buzz came a surprising rumour, claims that actress Anya Singh, who stars in the series, is the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani. The speculation began after a video circulated online, where Shah Rukh Khan compared Anya’s character in the show to his longtime manager, Pooja. Many quickly assumed that meant Anya was actually related to her. However, there was no point to this rumour even as SRK had compared Anya to his manager as she plays a star’s manager in the film. Addressing the chatter in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Anya shared her reaction, admitting the confusion caught her off guard.Interestingly, the actress revealed she didn’t bother denying the rumors. Instead, she leaned into them, explaining that the series itself deals with myths, so she thought, why not let people believe one more? Speaking about Pooja Dadlani’s response, Anya recalled how light-hearted the moment was and said, “When I met Pooja at the screening, I told her, ‘People think I am your daughter’, and both of us just laughed about it. Neither of us was affected by it.”The Ba**ds of Bollywood* has put Anya Singh in the limelight as she got a lot of praise. She feels fortunate to be recognized for her talent and even got the chance to interact with SRK himself through the project. Alongside Anya, the series features Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal, and Manoj Pahwa. The story follows ‘Aasmaan Singh,’ played by Lakshya, as he struggles to carve out a place in the film industry. Meanwhile, Anya takes on the role of his manager, ‘Sanya.’ At the show’s preview event, Shah Rukh playfully remarked that Anya reminded him a lot of Pooja Dadlani, sparking the very rumor that has now turned into a funny anecdote.
