Anushka Sharma returns to India, spotted with Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma returns to India, spotted with Virat Kohli at Mumbai airport

Anushka Sharma was spotted in Mumbai with Virat Kohli after months away. Dressed in a grey trench coat and black shirt, she kept it simple while Virat greeted paparazzi. Their visit’s purpose is unknown. Reports suggest the couple lives in London, where they were last seen with their kids.

Anushka Sharma made a rare appearance in India on Saturday (Deceber 13, 2025), much to the delight of her fans. The actor was spotted at Mumbai’s private airport with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, under tight security.

Effortless airport style

Dressed in a chic black shirt and a stylish grey trench coat, Anushka kept her look effortless with straight hair and dark sunglasses. Walking closely behind Virat, she made her way out of the airport and into their car in no time. As Virat greeted the excited paparazzi with a friendly wave, Anushka maintained a low profile and refrained from any interaction. The purpose of Anushka and Virat’s visit hasn’t been disclosed yet. Since their kids, Vamika and Akaay, don’t seem to be with them, the trip is probably a short one.

Life in London

Back in August, Anushka was seen in London taking a walk with her kids. Reports claim that she and Virat Kohli have permanently moved to the city, though they haven’t confirmed it yet. The couple was spotted in July at Wimbledon, watching the Men’s Round of 16 match between Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur. A month earlier, Anushka had joined Virat at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium to celebrate Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s first IPL title in 18 years. The celebration, however, turned tragic after a stampede outside the venue claimed 11 lives.

A much-adored power couple

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, often hailed as one of India’s favorite celebrity couples, exchanged vows in a private Italian wedding on December 11, 2017. Over the years, they’ve continued to capture hearts with their mix of stardom and simplicity. The duo became parents to their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, and welcomed their son, Akaay, in 2024, completing their lovely family.

Awaited Bollywood comeback

On the work front, Anushka was last seen in the 2018 movie ‘Zero,’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and later made a short cameo in ‘Qala’ in 2022. Her upcoming film, ‘Chakda Xpress,’ a biopic inspired by cricketer Jhulan Goswami’s inspiring journey, was announced earlier. Fans are eagerly looking forward to its release and to seeing Anushka back on screen after a long break. Go to Source
