Anupam Kher gets emotional after Vanshika’s tribute

Anupam Kher gets emotional after Satish Kaushik’s daughter Vanshika calls him her father’s messenger of love - Watch video

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has stood by the family of his late friend Satish Kaushik since his passing, was moved to tears after receiving a heartfelt tribute from Kaushik’s daughter, Vanshika. The young girl’s emotional video message left the actor speechless during an interview, as she expressed how Kher has continued to fill the void left by her beloved father.

Vanshika’s touching message leaves Anupam Kher in tears

In the video message, Vanshika Kaushik spoke lovingly about the bond she shares with “Anupam Uncle,” describing how he has been a constant source of support and affection since her father’s demise. She said, “I know that my Papa is not with me the way he used to be. But I still get all his love. Do you know how? Papa sends all his love through his best friend, Mr. Anupam Kher, whom I call Anupam Uncle. When Papa had to go on a special journey all of a sudden, it was Anupam Uncle who held my hand, guided me and protected me at every step. He made me feel that while I might not be able to see my dad, I could still feel his warmth for sure.” Vanshika went on to share how Kher continues her father’s Sunday ritual of taking her out for lunch and stays involved in her life despite his busy schedule. “He spends time with me, talks to me about my school, my studies and even my Instagram channel. Oh, I must tell you this — Anupam Uncle has also made some really cool reels with me, which he shared on his own Instagram page. He’s danced with me, made funny faces, cracked jokes, heard my stories. He’s done everything that I would do with my dad.” The young girl concluded her message with immense gratitude, saying, “Even his hairstyle is the same as that of Papa. That’s why I feel that Papa is still sending large couriers of his love. The delivery address is Anupam Uncle’s. Thank you, Anupam Uncle. Lots of love and best wishes to you.”

Anupam Kher’s emotional reaction

Hearing Vanshika’s words, Anupam Kher grew emotional and teary-eyed. The actor, visibly moved, asked the interviewer to wrap up the conversation, saying softly, “How sweet… wow. I can’t say anything after this.” With moist eyes, he later added, “You get moved by somebody’s goodness. It must have taken a lot of courage for her to speak about her father, where she’s giving tribute to me, how I am so loving to her. It is her courage that she has spoken so well. That’s why there is a matter-of-fact conversation, but words are not. And this shows more love.”

Anupam Kher’s heartfelt Instagram note

Sharing the emotional video on Instagram, Kher penned a moving note, “A BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE FOR ME: My dearest dearest #Vanshika Beta! Your words have touched the deepest core of my heart and soul! I am so moved (as you will see in this video) by your generosity and your understanding of my love and care for you! I will always be there for you.”He continued, “You are amazingly bright, brilliant, and gifted! Satish is always watching you from a better place. And he feels comfortable in the thought that his love and care reach you through me! Also, thank you dearest @richaaniruddha for asking @vanshikakaushik_15 for this video without my knowledge! Only a kind and compassionate person can do this! Love and prayers for both of you!”

Remembering Satish Kaushik

Last year, on Satish Kaushik’s 68th birth anniversary, Anupam Kher had also shared a heartfelt post remembering their decades-long friendship. Posting a montage of their cherished memories, he wrote, “Happy Birthday my dearest #Satish! May God give you all the happiness wherever you are. For me, you are always around — in pics, in food, in conversations, when I am on my own, when I am with people. Your memory is infectious!”Satish Kaushik passed away in March 2023 at the age of 66 after suffering a heart attack in Gurugram. His legacy continues to live on — not only through his work but also through the love and memories cherished by his closest friend, Anupam Kher, and his daughter Vanshika. Go to Source
