Composer Anirudh Ravichander has firmly stated he has no aspirations to become a film hero, dedicating his focus entirely to music, his true passion. He aims to continue composing for at least two more decades, with dreams of a monumental collaboration between Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan. Anirudh is currently immersed in several major upcoming projects.

Popular composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander has clarified that he has no plans to become a hero in films. Over the years, many directors have tried to convince him to act. However, nothing moved forward, and now Anirudh has firmly stated that acting is not his goal. In a recent interview, he openly said that he wants to focus only on music. According to him, music is his true passion, and he does not want to shift his path.

Anirudh Ravichander prioritizes music

Speaking with Provoke TV, Anirudh mentioned that he even told director Lokesh Kanagaraj that acting is not for him. He said audiences have given him a strong position over the last 15 years because of his music. The love he receives from fans across India is mainly due to his songs and background scores. He feels deeply thankful for that support. Anirudh added that these 15 years feel like just the beginning, and he wants to continue working in music for at least two more decades.

Anirudh aims to achieve more as a composer

Anirudh explained that he still has many goals in music. He said 15 years are not enough for him and that he wants another long and successful phase in his career. He shared that he may appear in music videos, promotional content, and brand endorsements, but not as a film actor. He clearly stated that he cannot imagine going to a film set to act as a hero. He finds delight in penning songs and establishing albums.

Anirudh’s dream collaboration

In an interview with India Today, Anirudh Ravichander recently spoke about composing for legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. He said he has already made many mass songs for them, so this time he wanted to try something different. For the final “Aaja Raja” tune, he chose a retro vibe instead of a usual high-energy track. He felt the retro style matched the promo visuals, especially their stylish garage entry. Anirudh admitted he was a bit nervous before release, as fans might expect a typical mass number. But he wanted to present something cool and fresh, and he is happy that people liked it. When asked about his dream collaboration, he said bringing together Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan would be a bucket-list moment for him.

Anirudh busy with big projects

Currentlly Anirudh is working on a number of big projects. His upcoming work includes ‘Jailer 2’, ‘The Paradise,’ ‘Love Insurance Company,’ and ‘Jana Nayagan,’ all of which are set to release shortly. With concerts happening all over and a slew of major albums on the horizon, Anirudh is one of the most active composers right now. Go to Source
