Angry fans call Taylor-Blake ‘MEAN GIRLS’

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively called 'MEAN GIRLS'; disappointed fans accuse two of 'stealing' Justin Baldoni's movie

Taylor Swift has been hit with a wave of backlash on social media after newly unsealed court documents revealed her much talked about text messages with Blake Lively amid the ‘It Ends With Us’ lawsuit with director Justin Baldoni. The Pop superstar, who is currently in the middle of prep for her wedding to Travis Kelce, hit the top trends on social media when the newly unsealed documents seemed to reveal the extent of her role in helping her friend, take control over the film. ‘Disappointed’ fans have accused both Taylor and Blake of being ‘mean girls’, saying that their unethical conduct deliberately undermined Baldoni’s influence over his film and helped Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds take creative control over the film.Following the release of text messages submitted as part of the ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni, fans took to their handles to express their disbelief and share their anger and disapproval. Labelling the actress and her popstar BFF as “mean girls,” many questioned their actions while pointing out Taylor’s own fight for the ownership of her music masters.

Blake Lively Files New Motion Over ‘Inappropriate’ Video as Justin Baldoni Prepares for Trial

Taylor Swift accused of helping Blake Lively ‘steal’ movie

One user wrote, “Taylor Swift helpin to steal someone’s movie after she cried for years about her masters being taken from her is just so disappointing.”Another added, “I’m so disappointed about Taylor. I stopped following her activities outside music a while ago, but this is SO BAD. How can you support stealing someone else’s WORK??? Because that’s what YOUR friend did.”Several long-time fans also voiced their disbelief, saying, “Really Taylor?!? Never in a million years would I have believed the narrative that Taylor Swift willingly participated in the harassment, intimidation, and take down of an innocent man. I believed in you and gave you the benefit of the doubt. What a monumental disappointment.”Another user said, “As a Taylor Swift fan of almost 20 years, I must say that after reading all of these Blake Lively text messages, I am disappointed. What happened to ‘standing with victims’, @taylorswift13? Or are only women allowed to be victims now? truly disgusted.”

Fans disappointed in Taylor Swift

The criticism intensified over claims that Swift had prior knowledge of internal disputes and the film’s media coverage. “It’s so disappointing Taylor Swift got ahead of communications coming out & claimed she had no knowledge & had nothing to do with It Ends With Us. Yet here we are reading she did in fact know & participate. Nobody should ever be actively stealing someone else’s work. Bullies,” read a tweet.Another said, “Taylor Swift KNEW about it all. Even the NYT article that was about to be published. Blake Lively and Taylor Swift are both unhinged.”Others reacted strongly against the alleged text messages. According to legal filings obtained by TMZ, Swift texted Lively in early December 2024, referencing Baldoni and a forthcoming New York Times article. In the message, Swift allegedly wrote, “I think this bitch knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin.” “I’m genuinely shaken by Taylor Swift’s text messages. Calling Justin Baldoni a ‘little bitch’ and mocking him for opening up about his past, especially when the film centers on domestic violence, feels incredibly dark. Celebrities really show their true colors,” one commented.

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively labelled ‘mean girls’

“Looks like Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were just nasty mean girls conspiring to take Justin Baldoni’s movie from him,” read a post prompting the narrative of “mean girl” behaviour that quickly gained traction online. A tweet read, “The text messages show that Taylor Swift straight up lied about her involvement. For someone so upset about her masters being stolen she was sure eager to steal someone else’s work, seemingly just for fun.”“Taylor Swift is a huge disappointment. She’s a role model for young girls and now comes across as a mean girl and a bully. Shame on her, Blake and Ryan,” one tweet stated.Another user wrote, “Blake Lively and Taylor Swift are mean girls. I told everyone these two are the same. The way they were calling Justin a clown is disgusting. Lively is a LIAR #justinbaldoni #taylorswift #BlakeLively.”Some fans even suggested broader fallout for Swift’s public image. “Taylor Swift’s text messages in court reveal she colluded with Blake Lively & both lied about their involvement to the public. Also confirms the song CANCELLED! is about Blake Lively with a dig at Baldoni. No one likes mean girls so seeing Swifties on social media dropping Taylor,” a post claimed. Taylor Swift has not yet commented on the text messages. Meanwhile, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s trial is set for hearing on May 18. Go to Source
