Amy Schumer, recently divorced from Chris Fischer after seven years of marriage, is encouraging her fans to embrace their emotions this Valentine’s Day. Sharing a selfie from a “Crying Corner,” the actress urged everyone to “give yourself all the love today.” Despite the split, the couple remains committed to co-parenting their son, reportedly still living together for his sake.

Earlier on, Amy Schumer made headlines after her split with her longtime partner, Chris Fischer. The actress officially filed for divorce last month, after the two had been married for 7 years. Now, as she spends her first Valentine’s Day after her split, the star is all about encouraging letting your emotions out, no matter what.

Taking to her social media in part of Valentine’s Day celebration, the ‘I Feel Pretty’ actress shared a selfie of herself on her account, and encouraged everyone to have a good cry this Valentine’s Day. She shared the photo while posing in front of a banner that read, “Crying Corner,” all the while adding the caption “Happy V Day.”She further added on “Give yourself all the love today.” She wore a full face of makeup and kept her hair up in a simple ponytail for the selfie.

About Amy Schumer and her split with Chris Fischer

The famed comedian and actress had gotten married to Fischer, a professional chef in 2018, and welcomed their son a year later. There had been rumors swirling about their split, which were later confirmed by the actress as she shared a post about the same on her social media.She wrote in the caption, “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”Following the rumors of their split, a report from Deadline had shared that the couple had parted ways, however, had been living together for co-parenting. A statement from the report read, “She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more. They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”
