All about some of the biggest celebrity bodyguards in India

From Shera to Kevin Kunta and Mubarak Khan: Bollywood's most famous celebrity bodyguards

More often than not, a celebrity’s bodyguard also ends up making headlines along with the star personality that they are protecting. The limelight often shifts from the celebrity to the person who is in charge of keeping things at bay and protecting the star. Over the years, many celebrity bodyguards have become the centre of attention for various reasons, like Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Shera, and most recently Ram Charan’s bodyguard Kevin Kunta. Interestingly, they are not stand alone examples. In fact, here is a look at some of the bodyguards from the world of Bollywood who have managed to go equally as viral as the people they protect.

Shera

Shera is Salman Khan’s longest-running bodyguard, who has been spotted over the celebrity’s shoulder in many paparazzi photos since 1995. For the past three decades, Gurmeet Singh Jolly has been serving the actor loyally and has been seen accompanying him at almost every event. Over the years, the two have also developed a close bond. Earlier on, he used to work as a bodybuilder; however, now he has ventured into the security business and is also known for making occasional cameos in films as well.

Ravi Singh

Shah Rukh Khan is a force to be reckoned with in the Bollywood industry and so is his bodyguard. Ravi Singh has been working with the ‘King’ actor for over a decade, and initially joined his security detail in 2014. Singh has been spotted accompanying the actor to public events, press releases, and other schedules, and has been by his side for around 12 years.

Kevin Kunta

Recently, bodyguard Kevin Kunta, who has been hired by Ram Charan’s team to protect the actor, has been making headlines. The way he handled a fan at a recent ‘Peddi’ event, left the internet divded. Formerly a well-known MMA fighter, he has been working with Charan and his family for years now. He has been by the actor’s side for the past 4 years, along with his family, and is known for his good looks as well. While being a bodyguard is his main job, he also occasionally works as a model for brands and other projects.

Mubarak Khan

Mubarak Khan is our next name on the list. He is Varun Dhawan’s personal bodyguard. He has been managing the actor’s schedules and has been seen accompanying him to multiple events. As he has worked with Dhawan for over a decade, the two share a close relationship as he oversees the star’s safety at every public event. Go to Source
