Durga Puja: Alia Bhatt makes jaw-dropping appearance at pandal; fans say 'sarees never looked this gorgeous'

Alia Bhatt turned heads with her glamorous and gorgeous traditional look as she visited the North Bombay Durga Puja pandal. Dressed to impress in a gold and white saree, the actress left fans in awe of her festive look as soon as she stepped out of her car. There to greet her on her arrival was director and good friend, Ayan Mukerji. On the actress’ arrival, Mukerji was seen opening the door for her and holding her hand as he led her into the pandal. Once inside, Alia was warmly greeted by actress Rani Mukerji, who pulled her in for a hug. Joined by Kajol’s sister, actress Tanishaa Mukerji and director Ayan, the happy bunch posed for a group photo.

Alia also made sure to pose for a selfie with goddess Durga’s idol in the background. She later shared the photo on her handle, with the caption, “Light. Love. Shakti.” The actress also obliged the paparazzi as she posed for photos on the stage. The actress, dressed in ethnic attire, was showered with compliments online, with fans calling her appearance “top tier” and declaring, “Sarees never looked this gorgeous.” Alia shares a close bond with director Ayan. The two collaborated on the 2022 blockbuster ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’. The film was not only important on a professional front, but also on a personal front, as she met her husband, Ranbir Kapoor on the sets.Ranbir had visited the pandal early this week. The actor was seen offering prayers before the idol and later met and greeted fans and the paparazzi.
