Akshay Kumar opens up on LPG shortage due to middle-east tensions, says wife Twinkle Khanna has bought two electric stoves

Akshay Kumar is currently busy with the promotions for his upcoming fantasy horror comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The film marks his reunion with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan after nearly 14 years. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and the late Asrani. Amid the buzz surrounding the film, the actor recently attended an event in Mumbai and interacted with the media. During the conversation, he also addressed concerns about how tensions in the Middle East could impact the supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders in India.The actor was present at the Mumbai Clean League, a city-wide cleanliness competition organised by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), on Tuesday, March 17. Speaking to the press at the event, as reported by NDTV, Akshay shared that there is currently no shortage of LPG at his home. However, he added that his wife, author Twinkle Khanna, has already taken precautionary measures.Akshay said, “There’s no shortage of gas at my home as of now. But my wife Twinkle has already ordered two electric stoves as a backup. I don’t know if they have already reached home or not.”He also spoke about taking time out from his busy shooting schedule to attend the cleanliness initiative. The actor said, “I took time out from shooting today to come here because this issue (cleanliness) is important. We need to move forward with a positive mindset.” ‘Bhooth Bangla’ also stars Wamiqa Gabbi in a leading role and is scheduled to arrive in theatres on April 10. Meanwhile, fans were recently surprised to know that Akshay will be seen in ‘Golmaal 5’ alongside Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Sharman Joshi.
