Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar made a candid confession, stating that while hard work is essential, luck has played the bigger role in his life and career. Akshay Kumar is currently hosting the quiz reality show ‘Wheels of Fortune’, and speaking on the show, the actor did not mince words. According to IANS, he said, “Aisa main manta hoon, main apne experiences ke upar bata raha hoon; mujhe aisa lagta hain ki hardwork ki jarurat toh hain aur main jamm kar mehnat aur hardwork karta hoon, lekin mere career mein ya mere zindagi mein luck jyaada kaam aaya hain (I believe this based on my own experiences. I feel that hard work is necessary, and I work very hard with full dedication, but in my career and life, luck has played a bigger role).”

Akshay Kumar gives a reality check for struggling actors

Akshay Kumar went further, drawing from what he witnesses every day on film sets. He pointed out that he regularly comes across thousands of young, aspiring actors who are more talented or better looking than him yet remain unknown, simply because luck has not favored them despite their best efforts to break into the industry.
