Akshay Kumar joins Juhu beach cleanup post-Ganpati, shares message on public responsibility; ‘Not Just BMC's Responsibility'

On September 7, Akshay Kumar joined a beach cleanup at Mumbai’s Juhu Beach after Ganpati Visarjan, along with Amruta Fadnavis and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani. The actor personally collected waste, emphasizing public responsibility in cleanliness. Upcoming projects include ‘Bhooth Bangla’, ‘Hera Pheri 3’, and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.

On Sunday, September 7, Akshay Kumar joined a beach cleanup event at Mumbai’s Juhu Beach, organized the day after Ganpati Visarjan. The initiative also included participants like Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani.Cleaning efforts captured on videoIn the video, the actor can be seen personally collecting waste and scraps from the visarjan and placing them into bags with the help of other volunteers. Several people joined Akshay in the cleanup effort.

Akshay on public responsibilityAt the event, Akshay highlighted the crucial role of public participation in keeping the environment clean. He shared, as reported by IANS, “Wisdom teaches us that we should maintain cleanliness. This is also a major point emphasised by our Prime Minister, who says that cleanliness is not just the government’s duty, nor only BMC’s responsibility, it is the responsibility of the public as well.”Akshay Kumar’s upcoming projectsOn the professional front, Akshay Kumar has several projects in the pipeline. His upcoming release is ‘Bhooth Bangla’, featuring Wamiqa Gabbi and Paresh Rawal. Additionally, ‘Hera Pheri 3’, starring Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, is finally set to begin filming after overcoming major controversies. Akshay will also lead the ensemble cast of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, which includes over 15 actors. Other films on his slate include ‘Jolly LLB 3’, ‘Haiwaan’, and ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’.
