Renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan is back with his latest project, ‘Haiwaan’, an intense thriller starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The film has officially begun shooting in Kochi, with additional schedules planned in Ooty and Mumbai. This marks the much-anticipated comeback of Akshay and Saif together after more than 17 years since ‘Tashan’. When questioned about the movie’s title, he humorously told Hindustan Times that it was something written in his destiny. He mentioned that first he did a film called ‘Insaan’, then ‘Jaanwar’, and now he is doing ‘Haiwaan’, completing a trilogy. However, he laughed it off and added that it was not something planned this way. Reports suggest that ‘Haiwaan’ is a Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Malayalam hit ‘Oppam’, which starred Mohanlal.
