‘AKOTSK’ Ep 5: Viral BTS image SPOILS major moment

'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms': Did BTS image of Baelor, Maekar, and Lyone SPOIL major moment in series

As fans of the new ‘Game of Thrones’ series, ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ gear up for Episode 5 titled ‘In the name of the Mother’, a A behind-the-scenes image from the set has sparked a flurry of reactions online. An official BTS image has sent fans of Westeros into a frenzy, with many speculating that the photo may have accidentally revealed a major and possibly tragic moment in the upcoming episode. Just hours before the episode could air online, social media was abuzz with speculation that the viral image, reportedly captured from a camera monitor during filming, may have spoiled a major moment.

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ BTS pic SPOILS episode 5

The photo in question appears to show Baelor and Maekar locked in combat, their bodies entwined mid-struggle. Just behind them, Lyonel is seen stepping back, seemingly attempting to avoid an incoming swing. However, what has particularly caught viewers’ attention, is Baelor’s position in the action-packed shot. The monitor, shows the character be down on his knees rather than tackling his brother in the epic ‘Battle of the Seven’.

That single detail has been enough to ignite widespread speculation online. “Baelor isn’t even tackling Maekar, he’s just on his knees on the ground. It’s over,” one fan wrote. Another added, “welp im NOT watching ep 5.””i can’t wait to watch the new akotsk episode but i am also sad because i know what will happen,” read another post. The characters of Baelor and Maekar of House Targaryen, are central to the show that follows the adventures of Ser Dunc and Egg. The series, adapted from the works of George R. R. Martin, is set decades before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, and explores the era of Ser Duncan the Tall and Prince Aegon Targaryen. The show has steadily gained momentum and rave reviews with its ratings only increasing by the episode. According to IMDB, episode 5 already has a perfect 10/10 score with almost 2,000 reviews in. With this, the episode is now the highest-rated episode in ‘Game of Thrones’ history with previous episodes like ‘The Rains of Castamere’ (S3E9), ‘Battle of the Bastards’ (S6E9), and ‘The Winds of Winter’ (S6E10), all holding a 9.9/10 rating. Meanwhile, ‘House of the Dragon’ scored its highest IMDb-rated episode with Season 2, Episode 4 ‘The Red Dragon and the Gold’ at 9.7/10. Go to Source
