After Sunny Deol’s public outburst at the paparazzi earlier today, filmmaker Karan Johar has now stepped in and slammed the ongoing frenzy.

Filmmaker Karan Johar stepped in after Sunny Deol’s angry outburst at photographers, criticising the chaos surrounding Dharmendra during his recovery. He described the media frenzy as a “circus” and urged everyone to show compassion and respect.

On Thursday, the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ director shared a heartfelt note on his Instagram Stories, pointing out that the Deol family was already coping with immense emotional stress. “When basic courtesy and sensitivity leaves our hearts and our actions we know we are a doomed race,” he wrote.He further added, “PLEASE leave a family alone!!!! They are already emotionally combatting so much…. It’s heartbreaking to see a paparazzi and media circus for a living legend who has contributed so massively to our cinema… this is not coverage it’s DISRESPECT.”

Sunny Deol also slams photographers outside family home

Before Karan’s post, Sunny had confronted the paparazzi waiting outside his home. The actor said, “Aap logon ko sharam aayni chaiyeh… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain..video liye jaa rahe ho.. Sharam nahi aati (You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Hema Malini speaks on family’s emotional struggles

Dharmendra’s wife, veteran actress Hema Malini, also opened up about the emotional strain the family faced during the actor’s hospital stay. Speaking to Subhash K Jha, she said the situation had been extremely tough for everyone.“It has not been an easy time for me. Dharamji’s health is a matter of great concern for us. His children are sleepless. I can’t afford to be weak, too many responsibilities. But yes, I am happy he’s back home. We are relieved he is out of hospital. He needs to be among the people he loves. Baki toh sab oopar wale ke haath mein hai (Everything else is in the hands of the Almighty). Please pray for us.”

Dharmendra’s upcoming film

Dharmendra’s fans are eagerly awaiting his next big-screen appearance. The veteran actor will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film ‘Ikkis’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya. The film is set to release in December this year. Go to Source
