Aditya Dhar reacts to Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma’s reviews for Dhurandhar: The Revenge: ‘Can't believe this is happening’

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has responded to the glowing reviews of Dhurandhar: The Revenge by power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, calling their words “overwhelming” and deeply motivating. Earlier, Virat Kohli had described Dhurandhar: The Revenge as an unmatched cinematic experience, saying he “didn’t flinch once” during its nearly four-hour runtime, while singling out Ranveer Singh’s performance as “beyond brilliant”.

Can’t believe this is happening Virat, this genuinely means so much. Been a fan since your Under-19 WC days.”He went on to add, “Watching a once-in-a-generation legend show love like this just hits different. The way you carry the country every time you step out inspires us… in our own small way, we’ll always try to make India proud with our films. Jai Hind.”

Dhar also responded to Anushka Sharma’s appreciation of the film, where she lauded the nearly four-hour-long narrative and the performances of the ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh.Reacting to her note, the director wrote, “This is truly overwhelming coming from such an exceptional talent like you. Thank you so much, Anushka.”He added, “It only pushes us to aim higher, to tell stories with honesty, heart and purpose… to create something that truly moves people.”

Earlier, Virat Kohli had described Dhurandhar: The Revenge as an unmatched cinematic experience, saying he “didn’t flinch once” during its nearly four-hour runtime, while singling out Ranveer Singh’s performance as “beyond brilliant”. Anushka Sharma, too, applauded the film’s conviction and craft, calling it “gripping and immersive” while praising Dhar’s vision and the cast’s performances. Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as a major box office success, with strong occupancy and pan-India appeal, including dubbed versions. It also stars R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun among others. The movie has already crossed Rs 1,021 crore and is still going strong at the box office. Go to Source
