16 Netflix shows ending in 2026

16 Netflix shows ending in 2026: 'With Love, Meghan,' 'The Night Agent', 'The Lincoln Lawyer' and more leaving their OTT home

The OTT grim reaper has been busy in 2026. As of now, 11 shows have been cancelled from the streaming lineup, with five more wrapping up their runs on their own terms. Here is the full list of every show coming to an end this year.

1. ‘The Abandons’

In January, it was reported that ‘The Abandons’, a Western series fronted by Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson, had been cancelled. The series was troubled even before it premiered, with creator Kurt Sutter leaving the production weeks before filming wrapped due to reported creative differences. Sutter took to Instagram to post a heated message saying, “Next time fear compels you to choose the algorithm over a creator’s vision, remember how that choice unraveled a potentially beautiful project,” before later deleting it following contact from corporate lawyers.

2. ‘The Night Agent’

On May 4, it was announced that the upcoming fourth season of ‘The Night Agent’ would be its last. Creator and showrunner Shawn Ryan was clear that this was a deliberate creative decision rather than a cancellation. In an official statement, Ryan said, “Ever since the initial success of ‘The Night Agent’, I’ve been obsessed with eventually delivering a proper and thrilling conclusion to the show and to Peter Sutherland’s journey. ”

3. ‘Selling the City’

‘Selling the City’, a spinoff of popular reality series ‘Selling Sunset’ set in New York City, was cancelled after just one season. Speaking to PEOPLE, star Eleonora Srugo said she had no hard feelings. “I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and for all the people around the world who connected with it,” she said.

4. ‘Bandi’

French series ‘Bandi’ was cancelled just weeks after its first season debuted in April. In a statement to French website RCI, the decision was described as “a difficult decision that was not taken lightly.”

5. ‘Pop the Balloon’

Live dating show ‘Pop the Balloon’, hosted by Yvonne Orji, will not be returning for a second season, according to reports. The quirky show was based on a YouTube series of the same name and had contestants hold balloons while being judged by a panel of singles.

6. ‘Terminator Zero’

In February, ‘Terminator Zero’ creator Mattson Tomlin confirmed on X that his animated spinoff of the Terminator franchise had been cancelled after one season. “It was cancelled. The audience reception to it was tremendous, but at the end of the day not nearly enough people watched it,” he wrote.

7. ‘Alice in Borderland’

The hugely popular Japanese sci-fi thriller ‘Alice in Borderland’ was confirmed to be coming to an end after Season 3 with an engagement report for the second half of 2025. The season was scoring down in both critical and audience ratings, and the fans who had wanted a resolution to its cliffhanger ending were disappointed.

8. The Vince Staples Show’

Though it performed well with audiences over the course of its two-season run, ‘The Vince Staples Show’ could not find a broader audience, and was cancelled in January 2026.

9. ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’

The popular legal drama ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’, based on Michael Connelly’s book series, will end with its fifth season, which is currently in production. Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez released a joint statement saying, “All good things must come to an end, but thankfully sometimes how they come to an end is up to us.”

10. ‘With Love, Meghan’

The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle show is reportedly not returning for a third season. A source told PEOPLE in January that there were “currently no plans” for continuation. A spokesperson subsequently confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the partnership with Markle’s As Ever brand had also come to an end. “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life,” the spokesperson said.

11. ‘Miss Governor’

Tyler Perry’s political comedy ‘Miss Governor’, which debuted in May 2025, will not be returning for a second season. In an Instagram video in March, star Terri J. Vaughn confirmed the news, saying, “I have to admit, I was quite heartbroken when I first got the info. I really worked my ass off to make that show come to fruition.”

12. ‘Alpha Males’

Season 6 of the Spanish comedy ‘Alpha Males’ will be its last. Following the Season 5 premiere, it was confirmed that the in-production sixth season would serve as the show’s sendoff, consisting of 10 episodes.

13. ‘Class’

‘Class’, a Hindi adaptation of the Spanish series ‘Elite’, was initially renewed for a second season, but actor Gurfateh Pirzada confirmed on Instagram that it would not be moving forward. As reported by Men’s Journal he wrote, “Unfortunately we could not give you another season because life usually has other plans.”

14. ‘Breathless’

The third season of the Spanish medical drama ‘Breathless’ will be its last. It was announced in May that production had begun on the third and final season, which will consist of eight episodes.

15. ‘Survival of the Thickest’

The comedy-drama series starring Michelle Buteau will receive a proper sendoff with its third season, set to debut on July 2. Speaking to Tudum, Buteau promised the final episodes would “be lived in, lived out loud, we’ll tie up and let it loose, honey!”

16. ‘Billionaires’ Bunker’

The Spanish psychological thriller ‘Billionaires’ Bunker’ was confirmed to not be returning for a second season, with the news confirmed to El País in December 2025. Go to Source
