Raja Subramani assumed charge as India’s Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Anil Chauhan, and pledged to accelerate military theaterisation, strengthen tri-service integration, promote indigenous defence capabilities and advance the government’s vision of jointness, self-reliance and innovation.
